The Lore
A desktop browser wrapper for people who want the web without the weight.
What it is
Shitter is a lightweight desktop browser wrapper built on .NET8. It opens, it browses, it gets out of the way. Full-screen logo landing, a bottom search bar, themes you actually want to use, and keyboard navigation that works the way you expect.
What it isn't
It isn't Chrome. It isn't a productivity suite. It isn't trying to be your operating system. There are no accounts, no sync services, no telemetry pipelines, no AI assistants whispering in the corner. It does one thing.
What It Will Be
Shitter starts as a browser, but that's not where it stops. The plan is a small command center on your desktop, a single window that loads up clean, then lets you swap in the apps you actually use. Drop a module into a folder, and it shows up. Hold Shift to pull up the picker and jump between them. No tabs piling up. No tray clutter. Just the tools you want, ready when you need them.
Why it should exist
Because every modern browser has turned into an advertising platform with a render engine attached. MyShitter is what happens when you strip that away and leave only the part that actually loads web pages.
Current version
Shitter 1.0 is in active development. Check the Flush page for availability.
